I freed my body in the metaverse 1 bk
Artwork 1 Details :
In the physical world performance art demanded the viewer to be present and engage with the live performer. Since entering the NFT space I begun to consider the huge gap between the physical and the virtual and I begun exploring how to transform the genre of performance to be viewed by the non-physical spectator. I’m constantly reminding myself that someone will be watching my work through digital screens from various devices and inside metaverse galleries. Therefore I need to think of my works more in the context of virtual performances or virtual forms of performances. “I freed my body in the metaverse” is my most recent exploration in trying to fill the gap between the traditional Performance experience and the metaverse Performance experience. In this new Digital Renaissance the possibilities and tools are endless. I am ready and willing to throw myself into exploring new tools, forms and concepts to create metaverse performance derivatives and works, with a sense of freedom, curiosity and no limitations.
